Creating a Report from a Template

The Raven Reports Feature ensures consistent knowledge transfer for shift briefings, Intel Reports, or end-of-day reporting. Reports can include statistics and constrained questions to provide analysis across logs and time periods.

How to Create a Report

  1. From the menu bar on the left-hand side, select Reports.

  2. Click Create New Report from Template.

  3. Choose a template from the dropdown list and select the log (active or archived) and/or time period to pull data from.

  4. The new report will populate with fields from your template, including Report Author and Date/Time of Report.

  5. Enter a report title and click Save Draft if you want to continue later.

  6. To return to a draft, select it from the Report List Page to continue editing.

How to Complete and Publish a Report

  1. Fill all fields in your report template with the appropriate information.

  2. Records will appear in individual sections. Remove any irrelevant records by clicking the X on the right-hand side.

  3. Once the report is complete, select Publish.

  4. On the next page, select users to share the report with and click Save.

  5. All selected users will receive a notification about the new report.

  6. To add or remove users after publishing, use the three action dots on the right-hand side of the report.

Tip Reports can be started with minimal information and saved as drafts, allowing for incremental completion and review before publishing.
