Guard Tours Set Up

Checklists are one of Raven’s most popular features. You can now configure scan codes against checks to track your security team’s daily patrols. This feature enhances the user experience by allowing patrol members to quickly scan codes from the mobile app to automatically complete and stamp the task.

Configure Guard Tours with scan codes

  1. Navigate to Manage > Routine Task Checklists to access your checklist templates.

  2. Place your own scan codes at each checkpoint throughout your venue.

  3. Assign the scan code to the relevant checklist task in Raven.

Create QR codes

  1. Use a QR code generator to create your codes (QR codes are recommended for ease of use).

  2. Enter your chosen code in the text field and refresh before downloading each code.

    • Refreshing ensures a unique code each time.

  3. Download the QR code and rename the file to match the code for clarity (e.g., "ABC-123").

  4. Optionally, maintain a spreadsheet with columns for Code, Task, and Location to stay organized.

  5. Add the corresponding code to the relevant checklist task in your template.

  6. Test a few codes before implementing all to ensure they work correctly.

  • QR / QR-Mobile

  • Aztec

  • Data Matrix

  • Codabar
