Linking Records

Raven’s Linking Records functionality allows you to cross-reference Issues, Notes, and Checklists within your account, helping you connect related records and manage duplicates efficiently.

How to Link Records

  1. Open the record you want to link and click Link Record.

  2. In the modal, select the relationship type from the drop-down:

    • Relates to

    • Duplicates

  3. Use the Search for Record field to type the record title or IRN. A dropdown will appear as you type; select the appropriate record.

  4. Once linked, the record will appear on the issue detail page. Clicking the link provides direct access to the associated record.

  5. Linked records are also marked on the main log with a chain link icon to the left of the title, making them easy to identify.

Tip

Use Linking Records to maintain a clear primary record for updates, connect related issues for better context, and make recurring issues easier to track and analyze.
