Main Log Page 📑

The Main Log Page is the core workspace in Raven. It’s where you’ll manage and monitor all active records, including Issues, Checklists, and Notes. This is the page you’ll use most often when working in Raven.

Accessing the Main Log Page

  • Click the Log tab in the main menu.

  • The page displays all Issues with key details:

    • IRN (unique autogenerated number)

    • Title

    • Status

    • Priority

    • Event

    • Process

    • Last Updated

  • The list defaults to showing the most recently updated records first, with incomplete Issues highlighted.

Issues

What is an Issue

  • An Issue represents any action recorded in the daily running log — including both routine activity and disruptions to normal operations.

  • Issues should be handled at the lowest appropriate level and escalated only when necessary, following your organisation’s Priority Gradings and Notifications.

  • Your organisation defines how Issues are used. They may include both disruptions and routine operational checks.

Viewing and Creating Issues

  • View an Issue: Click the Issue Title or the three dots on the right-hand side.

  • Create a New Issue: Click Create New at the top of the Issues list.

Checklists

  • Raven supports custom checklist templates that help standardise recurring tasks.

Configuring Checklist Templates

  • Go to the Management tab.

  • Select Routine Task Checklist to create or modify templates.

Creating a New Checklist

  • Confirm you have the necessary permissions.

  • In the Log section of the left-hand menu, click New Checklist.

  • Select the Event Log the checklist relates to.

  • Choose the Checklist Type.

  • Preview the task list and enter a Title for your checklist.

  • Click Create.

  • Your new checklist will now appear on the Main Log Page, ready for the assigned user to complete.

Notes

  • You can create and attach Note Records directly from the Main Log Page.

Creating a Note

  • Click New Note to open the Note Creation page.

  • Enter the Note details, the Log to attach it to, and any Notification Groups that apply.

  • Expand the text box by dragging the bottom-right corner if needed.

  • Click Create to save.

  • Notes appear in grey on the Main Log Page for easy identification.
