Uploading Maps 

Maps within Raven help with planning, preparation, and general site familiarization for events and venues. They also support efficient command and coordination during responses to issues.

Access maps

  1. Navigate to Manage > Sites & Maps in the left-hand menu.

  2. At the top left corner, select the Manage Maps tab to view all uploaded maps.

Upload a new map

  1. Click Upload New to begin adding a map.

  2. On the Maps Creation page, enter the Title of the map.

  3. Attach the map file to upload it to Raven.

  4. Save the map.

View and edit maps

  • Uploaded maps can be enlarged and viewed quickly from the main Maps page.

  • To edit a map, click the three dots on the right side of the map details in the list.

Benefits during incident response

  • Maps allow rapid identification of RVPs (Rendezvous Points) and evacuation zones.

  • Overlaying cordons on maps provides greater efficiency for command and coordination functions within Raven.

Tip: Proper use of maps ensures faster situational awareness and improved operational decision-making during events or incidents.
